Within the idea of preserving the environment, we have made a commitment not to use phytosanitary products for the maintenance of the campsite. That means we don’t use chemicals to weed our paths or clean the roofs and walls of buildings.
Plants and mosses therefore grow where they want, including on the aisles that serve the campsite! The little daisies are very pretty but to avoid being overwhelmed, we use mechanical weeding (elbow grease!) or thermal weeder (because not enough elbows !!!).
The mulching technique is favoured for all beds and shrubs, for example.
